Health Sciences Colleges: NAAC, NIRF and NMC Rating Readiness

Inspection-ready and rank-ready from one data layer, with stream tracks for medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy and allied health

Health sciences institutions answer to more regulators than anyone else in higher education, and the teaching hospital sits at the centre of all of them. This programme puts council inspections, NMC rating readiness, NIRF and NAAC preparation onto one data layer, with stream tracks so every participant works on their own council's requirements.

What is the Health Sciences Colleges: NAAC, NIRF and NMC Rating Readiness programme?

Health Sciences Colleges: NAAC, NIRF and NMC Rating Readiness is a five-evening applied programme by Edhitch, run live online from 18 to 22 January 2027, Monday to Friday, 7–9 PM IST. Leaders of medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy and allied health institutions put council inspections, NMC rating readiness, NIRF and NAAC preparation onto one data layer, working in stream tracks on their own council's requirements. The fee is ₹2,499 + GST.

Why does this matter now?

The same bed strength, OPD and IPD numbers, clinical material and faculty counts appear in council inspections, NIRF submissions and NAAC returns. When they are prepared by different people at different times, the mismatches are visible to everyone who compares them.

The ground is moving. NMC has proposed a rating framework for medical colleges through its Medical Assessment and Rating Board, still at draft stage. Competency-based curricula require evidence that competencies are taught, assessed and logged, not merely listed. Dental, nursing, pharmacy and allied health councils each apply their own standards, while NIRF ranks Medical and Dental institutions in their own categories.
