What does NBA mentoring involve?

NBA mentoring guides a programme through accreditation: checking pre-qualifiers, framing PEOs, POs and PSOs, setting up CO-PO mapping and attainment, preparing the Self-Assessment Report under GAPC v4.0 and rehearsing the visit. Edhitch mentors the faculty who do this work and runs the attainment and SAR on Master Data Map, so every figure traces back to marks and evidence.

Our approach: NBA evaluators test whether faculty understand their own outcomes and attainment. That is why we mentor rather than write the SAR for you — your team builds the capability, and the platform keeps it after the visit.

How we help with NBA

Readiness and pre-qualifier reviewA programme-by-programme check against NBA’s pre-qualifiers and GAPC v4.0 criteria, with a prioritised gap listBefore you apply

Faculty OBE mentoringHands-on mentoring so faculty can write course outcomes, map assessments and calculate attainment themselvesThroughout the cycle

How mentoring works

  1. Review. We check each programme against the pre-qualifiers and GAPC v4.0 criteria and show where marks are at risk.
  2. Frame outcomes. PEOs, POs, PSOs and course outcomes are reviewed and agreed with your departments.
  3. Measure attainment. CO-PO mapping and attainment are set up in Master Data Map, so every number traces back to marks and evidence.
  4. Build the SAR. Criterion by criterion, with a projected score that shows where to focus.
  5. Rehearse and support. A mock visit, then support through the NBA visit and any compliance report.

Why programmes choose Edhitch

  • Attainment you can defend. CO and PO attainment computed in Master Data Map, traceable to every assessment.
  • A projected SAR score. See criterion-wise marks before the visit and focus where they are lost.
  • Proven with NBA programmes. SITS Hyderabad runs CO-PO attainment for its NBA Tier I programmes on Master Data Map; IBI worked with us on NBA and OBE.
  • Faculty who own it. Mentoring and FDPs are part of every engagement.

Mentoring that runs on Master Data Map

Frequently asked questions

What does an NBA accreditation consultant or mentor do?

An NBA mentor guides a programme through accreditation: pre-qualifier checks, PEO, PO and PSO framing, CO-PO mapping and attainment, SAR preparation under GAPC v4.0 and visit rehearsal. Edhitch mentors faculty through each step and runs attainment and the SAR on Master Data Map.

Do you write the SAR for us?

We prepare it with you. NBA evaluators interact with faculty and students, so the faculty need to understand their outcomes and attainment. We mentor them, provide the structure and run the calculations on Master Data Map.

Do you support Tier I and Tier II programmes?

Yes. We work with both Tier I (autonomous and university departments) and Tier II (affiliated) programmes under GAPC v4.0.

How long does NBA preparation take?

Typically three to six months for a programme with its data in order, and longer if outcomes and attainment need to be set up from the start. A readiness review tells you which applies.

Can you help with CO-PO attainment only?

Yes. Many institutions start with OBE and CO-PO attainment in Master Data Map, and individual faculty can use CO-PO Pro.

How is NBA mentoring priced?

Each engagement is scoped to the number of programmes, your timeline and the support you need, and quoted after an initial call.
